FLOWREX Surface Aerator

FLOWREX Surface Aerator is equipment that functions to transfer oxygen in the wastewater treatment process, this equipment can be applied to aeration ponds. This Surface Aerator produces oxygen by agitating/stirring the water surface so that oxygen can enter the water. The type of impeller used in this aerator is a Screw Impeller which functions to optimize the flow of oxygen that will enter the water. FLOWREX Surface Aerator uses a driving motor with an axial flow impeller, the wastewater output from the conduit comes out of the water deflector and forms a thin water curtain (or water droplet shape). When water comes into contact with air, water droplets will form, where the water droplets fall onto the water surface and a turbulence movement is formed along with air bubbles. Air bubbles will increase oxygen dispersion and the amount of oxygen contained in the water.
